Dwara

(live)

Sunday 19 14:00 – 15:00 Lake Stage Instrumental

Entwining the organic and electronic, Dwara creates songs that explore the human condition and centre on emotion. Seeking undiscovered sounds, she infuses experimental production with cathartic lyricism that nurtures the soul and evokes introspection.

Born in Finland, Dwara was raised in the Himalayan foothills of Dharamsala in Himachal Pradesh. With an upbringing deep-rooted in music and travel, she was first trained to sing bhajans, later performing in orchestras from the age of 9, and further finding her voice in choirs and bands.

After moving to London, her debut single ‘Power’, followed by ‘Mariana Trench’, put her on the radar of Jordan Rakei, Jacob Collier, and Alfa Mist. Amid the height of the pandemic in 2020, she released her debut EP ‘Desire Paths’.

Dwara entered her next chapter by releasing the collaboration project “I love you, say it back” with Spanish artist and producer Khotton through out 2023, with the final full length being released in February 2024.

Prompted by this, she has collaborated with other Spanish artists such as Abhir Hathi and Nusar3000.
