Its alright, cigarette butts and tissues are made out of biodegradable material.

Everybody throws cigarette butts on the floor, why not?

Explain politely that Wakana is a sacred space and you must respect the environment. Everyone should collect and store their own trash.

Why is Wakana a sacred and special place?

“Tajo de las Figuras” is a neolithic cave located in Wakana. Neanderthals used it as a temple of nature and fertility.

Inside Wakana you will find 14 Neolithic dolmens and hundreds of Phoenician tombs.

The ancient Tartessian civilisation lived in this valley thousands of years ago. Historian Alberto Porlan situtes the lost city of Atlantis in this area.
