About Lorena Aguiar
Allow me to introduce myself. I am Lorena, and my journey into the world of yoga and alternative healing practices began at a young age, under the nurturing guidance of my mother. It was through her influence that I was introduced to the transformative power of yoga, igniting a passion within me that continues to burn brightly to this day.
As I ventured deeper into my personal exploration of self and spirituality, my aunt introduced me to the realm of past life therapy sessions. This introduction awakened a profound curiosity within me for alternative medicine and therapies, sparking a lifelong dedication to understanding the intricate connections between the mind, body, and spirit.
Over the past decade, I have seamlessly merged my passion for artistry with my healing practices, creating a harmonious fusion of creativity and holistic wellness. To deepen my knowledge and expertise, I embarked on a transformative journey to India, where I immersed myself in intensive training. I completed a 200-hour Ashtanga Yoga course, diving into the roots of this ancient practice. Additionally, I engaged in a 600-hour learning process under the guidance of the esteemed teacher Ramesh in Mysore. Collaborating closely with Ramesh, I had the privilege of creating a yoga guide, where my artistic talents were utilized to design illustrations that beautifully accompanied the adjustments of the Asanas.
For me, yoga is more than just physical exercise; it is a profound journey towards finding harmony and balance within oneself. My classes reflect this philosophy, offering a dynamic and invigorating Vinyasa Flow style that combines strength-building and mobility work. Prepare to move, breathe, and yes, even sweat, as we explore the boundaries of our physical and mental capabilities, cultivating a sense of empowerment and tranquility.
Continuing my commitment to growth and knowledge, I embarked on a 200-hour pilates mat teacher training course in 2022. This allowed me to expand my expertise in movement and further refine my understanding of the body-mind connection. I find great joy in both learning and teaching, and over the past five years, I have had the privilege of sharing my passion for yoga through teaching. In addition to my yoga instruction, I have also delved into various leadership and meditation courses, enriching my understanding of holistic well-being and imparting this wisdom to my students.
Ultimately, my journey as a yoga teacher, artist, and healer is driven by a deep desire to empower individuals on their own paths of self-discovery and transformation. Through the harmonious integration of artistry, movement, and spirituality, I seek to guide others towards unlocking their true potential, finding balance, and embracing a life of authenticity and inner peace. It is an honor to share this journey with each and every person I encounter, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be a catalyst for positive change in their lives.
