Alvaro Medina

Alvaro Medina was born in Alicante in 1987, however, he has spent most of his life in Madrid. It is there, in the capital of Spain, where he has built himself as a person and as an artist.

Alvaro has spent the last few years training his talent as a sound technician to turn it into a powerful tool for entertainment and musical excitement. With that purpose, he has connected his extensive background, with roots in the sounds of Soul, Funky, Hip Hop and has made them evolve to the most current underground Minimal, Techno and House sounds. This mixture is transferred to each and every one of his sets and productions where his ability to know how to read the moment and the trends to give the most appropriate response to it stands out, always being faithful to his style. As far as the studio is concerned, Alvaro has released tracks on labels such as Djebali, Moan, Robsoul, Get Physical, Sanity or Vatos Locos, receiving important support from great artists, defining a very clear trajectory and own sounds in the development of songs capable t o move and connect the audience.

Under this objective he alternates his performances as a guest in clubs such as Amnesia in Ibiza, Les Enfants in Barcelona, Fabrik in Madrid, Bret in Amsterdam, fabric in London among many others, festivals as Sunwaves or “Dias de Campo” and with the residence of one of the most exquisite audiences in the capital, in some of the most emblematic events and references of Spanish electronic music such as Replay Sunset Parties or Roots.

Currently working on the events of his own brand Jazzy Club at The Bassment and sharing lineups with great influences for him such as Raresh, tiNI, Priku or Arapu among others…
