Miguel Barros, also known as Pional is a DJ and multi-instrumentalist producer who broke into the scene in 2010 with the acclaimed EP “A Moot Point” under the Barcelona label “Hivern Discs” from his friend and collaborator John Talabot, artist with whom he co-produced part of his acclaimed debut album ƒIN.
After releasing EP’s under the umbrella of international labels such as Young Turks, Permanent Vacation or Ninja Tune, his melody-infected sound exudes melancholy over hypnotic rhythms. His productions with other artists range from The XX, Jessie Ware, John Talabot or C. Tangana.
