YinYang Flow Class and Breathwork
YinYang yoga is based on the Taoist concept of tow opposing and complimentary forces. Sun and Moon, Night and day, Masculine and Feminine. Yin/Yang yoga is a practice that balances the slow-paced Yin yoga with the traditional Yang yoga (Vinyasa and Hatha), providing a balanced practice for body and mind. Come enjoy the ambient music accompanying this class and feel the calming effects of Breathwork.
Zarah has combined her greatest loves yoga, dance and music to create ZOGAflow.
We find focus and connection through breath, strength and flexibility through classical yoga postures, fluidity and grace through movement and music. The class will consist of learning various short sequences (or flows) and gradually building them to create a free flowing, energising dance of self expression and vitality.
Ever so captivated by the capacity of the human system and its connection to our inner and outer worlds; Zarah has travelled a colourful road which always leads her back home. To body and most importantly to spirit.
Coming from a dance background, Zarah easefully transitioned to yoga around 15 years ago and felt immediately nurtured not only physically but emotionally and spiritually. From this point her passion grew rapidly and in 2012, she completed her first TTC in London going on with intensive studies of Astanga Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin and Indian Philosophy and bodywork/massage. Above all else, and central to the very essence of life, the breath has been a huge source of inspiration for Zarah ,who has acquired much experience in Pranayama (yogic breathing exercises) and Breathwork which she incorporates into her classes.
Zarah is always excited to share some of the many tools of yoga that serve as great friend. A companion to unearth the depths of our being, to cultivate balance of body, mind and spirit and shine light on the potential within.
