The association APADIS Bahia de Algeciras association of fathers and mothers of people with intellectual disabilities of the Bay of Algeciras, is a nonprofit organization whose beginnings go back to 1967, when a group of fathers and mothers joined in their disagreement with the that society offered to their sons and daughters.
At present, this entity has become the association with the longest trajectory and seniority of the Campo de Gibraltar region and enjoying wide recognition in the field of disability.
An exciting challenge come true that has led to this unique itinerant exhibition consisting of thirty sculptures by Willy Fog, covered by thirty renowned artists who have embodied in them their particular interpretation of the famous child character; artists who at no time have hesitated to be part of the history of the association, joining them to make possible this gold clasp for the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the entity.
The entrepreneur Willy Fog has returned, and does so at the hands of APADIS Bahía de Algeciras, to start in Wakana Lake Reunion a new round the world trip to other Spanish cities , championing this adventure with great purposes: To give visibility to people with intellectual disability, improve services for them and produce an approach to art and culture.
